As global awareness of environmental issues grows, NGOs and social activists are increasingly influential in advocating for the environment and the rights of individuals. In Tamil Nadu, the vigilant Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and the judiciary play crucial roles in enforcing pollution control laws and
addressing environmental concerns. The leather processing industry is often cited for its environmental impact, as the process of turning raw hides into finished products generates both solid and liquid waste that must be treated to meet environmental standards. CEMCOT is committed to addressing these
challenges through innovative solutions and sustainable practices.
